We serve the entire City of Chicago and the surrounding North Shore suburbs. Common city neighborhoods include Andersonville, Bucktown, Gold Coast, Hyde Park, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Logan Square, Old Town, Pilsen, River North, Roscoe Village, The Loop, West Loop, and Wicker Park. Suburban areas (subject to a travel fee) include Evanston, Glencoe, Glenview, Highland Park, Kenilworth, Wilmette, and Winnetka. For projects within Chicago city limits there's no additional travel fee. For suburban locations a travel fee may apply to cover transit time, and we'll discuss it upfront during the initial consultation so there are no surprises on the final invoice.
Restaurants, bars, salons, retail shops, and small offices. Grant specializes in audio, so if you need background music, multi-zone sound, or a system that actually sounds good in your space, that's the sweet spot. We also handle TVs and projectors, same as residential work.
Yes. A lot of restaurants and retail spaces just need a clean background music setup that staff can control from a phone or tablet. If you need something more involved like PA for announcements or a multi-zone system, we can do that too. We'll figure out what fits your space and budget.
Most of the time, yes. Commercial AV is full of marked-up labor and overpriced equipment. Send us what you've been quoted and we'll show you what the same job looks like with us. If we can't do it for less, we'll tell you straight.
When we can. Bars, restaurants, and retail spaces usually can't shut down for an install, so we work evenings, early mornings, or off-days when it makes sense. We'll figure out a schedule that keeps you open.
Yes. If your existing gear is solid, we'll build around it. If something needs to be replaced, we'll tell you why and what it'll cost. No tearing out what already works just to sell you new stuff.
Yes. If something stops working, you want to add a zone, or staff turnover means nobody remembers how to run the system, give us a call and we'll come back out.
Both. The commercial work grew out of years doing residential installs across Chicago. Same installer, same standards.
